Ed is a Principal Engineer/Program Manager, and has been in medical device and pharmaceutical arenas since 1985. While starting his career in Europe, he earned his BS in Industrial Engineering. He worked as a Field Service Engineer for a plastics equipment manufacturer headquartered in Switzerland.
Ed moved from the equipment side of the plastics world to the contract manufacturing side at NYPRO in Clinton, MA, but he spent much of his time traveling to NYPRO plants around the world, stationed in Singapore, Gurnee, IL and finally San Diego, CA. Then he joined Inhale Therapeutics in San Carlos, CA. Inhale Therapeutics developed inhalable insulin and the delivery device. Ed managed the Tooling and Metrology teams and served as a member of the Supply Chain and Sustainment programs for Inhale.
He went on to manage other medical device/pharmaceutical programs for Guidant, Abbott, Kimberly Clark, and Watson Pharmaceuticals, where he led more than 1,200 employees as the Director of Operations. At REV·1 Ed specializes in Critical Chain Program Management, Quality Systems, and Detailed Estimating for clients.
