Scott is a Program Manager / Principal Engineer for REV·1 Engineering and has worked in the medical device industry since 1997. Scott’s medical device experience ranges from new product development, sustaining engineering, operations and engineering management. Scott has experience working for small, medium and large medical device companies. He has been involved in all aspects of medical device product development from concept initiation, prototyping, device and process development, pre-clinical evaluation, clinical trials, ramp up and full commercial production. In addition, Scott has experience with internal and contract manufacturing.
Scott is named on over 20 U.S. patents and has been involved with the development of class I, II & III medical devices including: EP mapping catheters, guide wires, coronary and carotid embolic protections systems, peripheral and coronary drug eluting and pro-healing stents, balloon dilatation catheters, aspiration catheters, intravascular ultrasound catheters, wound closure devices, ophthalmic equipment, and cancer therapy delivery systems.
