M2D2 Announces Next Accelerator Cohort

M2D2 Announces Next Accelerator Cohort

REV.1 Engineering® is pleased to announce the next cohort for UMass Lowell’s M2D2 Impact program is forming! ASAHI Intecc, REV.1’s parent company, is a sponsor of M2D2’s accelerator programs.

The Impact program is designed to place first time entrepreneurs in one-on-one relationship with industry mentors, providing support and guidance for the commercialization of their device. The twelve week program places participants in contact with industry experts from the ranks of the program’s sponsors.

“Taking a device to market, for the first time, can be a daunting task,” commented Terry Murray, Vice President of Strategic Development at REV.1 Engineering. “There’s nuance to every step, and having access to industry experts who’ve gathered decades of knowledge can help first time entrepreneurs shorten their learning curves. It’s a wonderful program.”

This cohort is specifically interested in companies that have minimally invasive procedural solutions in Sports Medicine, in particular the treatment of joint injuries, and companies addressing degenerative tissue conditions (soft tissue repair).
