Jeff is a Senior D&I Engineer at REV•1 Engineering and has been in the medical device industry since 2009. After graduating from the University of Colorado Boulder with a degree in Mechanical engineering and focus in Biomedical Engineering, he started his career at Spectranetics (now Philips IGT) as an engineer in Research and Development. While at Spectranetics he worked in both the Lead Management and Vascular Intervention groups developing pacemaker/ICD lead extraction tools, laser atherectomy catheters, and other interventional cardiovascular devices. He held multiple roles within R&D, including technical lead, and has multiple successful product launches under his belt.
Jeff has experience in all phases of product development from concept to production transfer, as well as, sustaining engineering and remediation. His core competencies include: Solidworks design & simulation (FEA), device prototyping, design verification & validation, statistical analysis techniques, design for manufacturing & assembly (DFMA), and process development & validation. Jeff has a thorough understanding of design controls and FDA requirements for medical device development. He is also a named inventor on multiple patents.
